The 5th of April I will play some ditties together with Rusty Cage so this specimen needs some cleaning, adjusting and new strings. This used to be my main guitar for almost 15 years. It's a Gibson SG Pro from 1970 with P90s and a Bigsby. It's got a super thin neck which is why it plays like butter but the neck is also super sensitive to any pressure or force applied, you can bend it almost half a note by just pulling the neck to the back or pushing it to the front.

This Höfner Sienna's pickup still works, but as you might see, the surface is sticky and breaks here and there.
Höfner and Thomann can't get spare parts.
With super glue I tried to fix the broken parts, but the stickiness on the plastic surface is another issue.

I thought, maybe it would be possible to print this part, but I could imagine the modelling could be time consuming.

It's #GuitarTuesday and I was trying the first time to record my guitar play with the computer instead with a smartphone.
Not bad for the first time I think.

What I did?

- I used #Behringer UMC202HD, Ubuntu Studio 24
- recorded with #Audacity
- made it stereo
- normalized
- removed noise
- added a bit hall effect
- added compressor effect

There is a lot of space for improvement I guess. Feel free to share your experience with me 🤗
