#TheCribs 4th album IGNORE THE IGNORANT sees #GuitarGenius Johnny Marr join & it's immediately obvious; their most technically competent and well produced album. Ryan Jarman and Marr together is a once-in-a-billion-years-cosmic-event that producrd some of the most infectious guitar melodies ever; while the interplay between the two guitarists isn't #Television, ItJustWorks™ even though one gets the impression Marr took the lead as there are less repetitive lines and more #Smiths melodies.

Eddie "Snoozer" Quinn was a guitar genius. Incredible virtuoso, he developed a unique style in jazz that allowed him to play a melody and rhythmic bass line at the same time. Sadly only a silent film (made by Don Paterson around 1932) shows his masterful fingerstyle technique.
In 1948, in a tuberculosis ward at a hospital in New Orleans, Johnny Wiggs recorded Quinn a few month before he died.
