I drafted the first service for Xenguard: the Authentication Engine:

• #Protobuf data serialization (both RPC and DB)
• Connect RPC (instead of #gRPC)
• Embedded DB (BadgerDB) with encrypted data at-rest

It is still in it’s early stages. My plan is to implement a preliminary version for various services to have an MVP and then extend each one step by step.
