I got a very early birthday present this morning, a fancy mushroom growing kit! I've grown regular oyster mushrooms from a kit before. These are grey oyster mushrooms and pearl oyster mushrooms. Look forward to photos of mushroom growing progress 😁

Finally managed to get fresh wood chips for my King Stropharia mushroom spawn, which I have now ‘planted’. Hope it gives us lots of mushrooms. Picked out the place where I will put my wood blewits. Also got some compost for them but the kids were going crazy by the time I had set up the KS patch, (how dare mum have a hobby) so the blewits will have to wait. Waiting is a common part of gardening.
