and I went to a native plant sale and the place was a ZOO. Unlike any prior years and those were crazy too. I guess it’s a good thing that so many folks are interested in growing native. But when these tiny things are the best you can score from a multi-location day of hunting, that’s kind of crazy.
If something is not eating your plants, your garden isn’t part of the ecosystem.
It's awesome to see native gardening pick up. Stuff like Homegrown National Park, Shrink the Lawn, Less Lawn More Life etc.

Just got word, city approved the Scout's Park Rehabilitation plans with my native pollinator garden design inputs. Such a great project! I've already set aside plants! Time to contact all my garden friends with the list of plants needed!

Just your seasonal message to remind you that plant sweat cools you off in the summer, so plant those plants. Trees are best, because you get shade and sweat, but plant anything native to your region. Not only do you get all the glorious benefits of sweat, shade, and fresh air, but you don't even have to work hard to keep them alive!
