#Mamdani's plan for public supermarkets may sound like a really big swing, but the infrastructure to run something like that already exists in the city.

#GrowNYC, in addition to it's network of greenmarkets, runs a food distribution hub in the Bronx and countless subsidied EBT/SNAP accessible food distribution locations like Fresh Food Box and Farmstands. This infrastructure could be easily be incorporated into the city's purview to get local affordable food to New Yorkers. #nycmayor
