Day one of planting down. Junior Gardeners planted potatoes, strawberries, carrots, peas, lettuce, spinach, onions, kale, and basil. From yesterday's day of cleaning veggies to this a.m.'s drop off, 21.5lbs of food has been donated care of B's Junior Gardeners!

These foods were planted by my students this spring!

It's an amazing feeling knowing that this will help all those standing in line, but my heart aches for the lack of fresh food available.
