First shipment of 16 F35s from US arrives this year to replace CF18s.

US may not allow #Gripens or a mixed fleet as part of #Norad.

Interestingly, in light of #Trump’s America First policies, the US jet aircraft may also be partially built in Canada.

The country being referred to is the #Philippines, we're reportedly going for the #Gripen E/F instead. That leaves, potentially, eight Gripen C/D fighters for #Ukraine now that #Sweden is joining #NATO.
