Got the new grill assembled and introduced to its new habitat. This is a 22” Weber Original Kettle Premium, an upgrade from the basic 18” Original Kettle I’ve used for the last six years.

The extra cooking real estate and enclosed ash bucket will be very nice. My entry level grill served me well, though, and is still in great shape.

It's Memorial Day so I did have to fire up the coals!
Had some sous vide lamb on skewers - just had to thaw bag in some water and get a bit of char.
Excellent quick eats.

Grilling for dinner was foiled by an empty gas bottle. So grilled inside on the induction stove using a cast iron grill pan, and had to put on the ventilation on +++ because I nearly smoked the house
