A while ago I discovered a drummer at a concert who reminded me so much of Griffin. Similar size, face, hairstyle. Today also a similar cardigan. It’s a little strange.

Some fun new actor blog posts. Finally looked up a description of his 2019 Halloween costume of turtleneck and fanny pack, and discovered he was The Rock. I was amused.

Lovely to have new clips and interviews with Griffin and co to rewatch. Now trying not to impatiently await news of trailer and cinema or streaming release, let alone the same for Pig Village that he filmed just before. Months of no news there.
I was surprised by some of the interviews, getting to know him some more. He made a joke in one that got “what” and barely a laugh (it did from me). I felt for him. Director Victoria was in mum mode for a moment and otherwise they do all seem to get along well.
Lovely clips of them dancing, posing for photos, and the jokey interview in their AirBnB place. Sweet that his parents were there to see the film too.
The various media outlets that interviewed the cast and director of #SeekersOfInfiniteLove at #SXSW are still giving - two more interviews popped up since last night.
I’ve heard about most of the film by now, they give enough spoilers, but I want to watch my fave actor.
Discovering sides to some of these actors that I did not known. #JohnReynolds seems quiet and laidback, and keeps coming out with sharp zingers, #HannahEinbinder is really fun, and #GriffinGluck is surprisingly adorable considering I somewhat knew that already.
Seems they were just there for two days and did enough work so I guess they didn’t see much else of the festival 🤷🏻♀️
I’ve come up with a ranking of Griffin’s main characters based on range of expressions. It seems too judgy to post on the blog. I think of Gabe first, but Luke also went to a few dramatic places so maybe they tie for first.
Jack is funny, happy and occasionally angry so he’s next and Sam alongside him (maybe less dramatic, but can be quite fun and cheeky). Monroe gets upset, but not so extreme in other emotions. Though sometimes he reacts in a quieter way, but still deeply. Quinn also not so extreme, being quieter and sadder in some ways.
Younger roles since I think of the six above as the older group, starting with Rafe, he’s close to Sam and Jack. Charlie and Danny are happier more of the time so probably below Quinn. And then Mason, he has some big emotional times, so up there with Luke and Gabe.
I suppose that’s more judgment on the characters than Griffin who I thought did a great job with all of them.
I noticed with pleasant surprise that one actor whose tag is very much nearly just from me has another five followers. So that’s nice. Hi, friends 👋🏻 I hope they’re not all phantom followers or something, you never know (we’re a small crowd and I’ve been surprised to find even a few mentions of Dan and Phil around here, so I wonder).
Aside from Hannah Einbinder’s hilarious instagram story yesterday where Justin Theroux, Griffin and another guy did a little skit with some mild BDSM vibes… let’s just say Griffin plays a sweet sub 😏 it’s all quiet on the film fest front.
It was a lovely whirlwind for two days, so many photos, interviews and videos. Many boosts of dopamine and 23 blog posts. March last year was also the busiest, but that was just me having made the blog a week into February.
We hadn’t seen Griffin in a video much since interviews in 2023 and I wondered if he’d changed much. Nope. Still adorable. There’s an occasional old clip of him being a little grumpy or sarcastic, while some manage to seem endlessly sweet. I take that as human. I certainly get snappy. If I’m not awake yet, my brain is half-wool and I can’t take much in.
Being the youngest in the main cast, and cute, led to sweet moments of them hugging him and him the floor holding John Reynolds’ leg in one photo 🥺

I want to yell and step in 😏 all jokes. But I still hope they’ve seen more of the festival, they’ve certainly been hanging out which is also nice. They might be home already, I don’t know if this is from filming last year (edit to add - it was).
A rare perk of waking up every night is this festival time of people busy on instagram. I hope they see more of the festival, they’ve done a few photoshoots and interviews. I’m tempted to make a blog post of the handful of times someone was affectionate to Griffin, it’s so cute.
They’re a range of ages. Director and one actor about 50, two are 5 or more years older than him. Idk if 5 years makes a big difference, but he’s the youngest and playing the youngest of this group, aside from one who’s not with them. And he’s the younger sibling in his family which sometimes continues in the dynamic elsewhere (we see it with Dan and Phil). He’s 25, looks younger sometimes.

Griffin fandom continuing to do well as the cast has had a few photoshoots and interviews. There’s often a minor spoiler of something or other mentioned in the synopsis or character description so I’ll leave off sharing (updating the blog like it’s my job as usual).
I hope they get to see more of the festival.
