My first sighting of a Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) 💛

I was by a stream, waiting for the kingfisher when this beautiful bird appeared in front of me. It was actually pretty close to me but in these photos, you can see it scanning the area and thinking that "this weird girl with a weird thing pointed in my direction" is no threat 😂
And of course, it was wagging its tail the whole time! 🥺 So cute!

Eine zierliche Gebirgsstelze huscht über die Steine, ständig in Bewegung. Ihr gelber Bauch leuchtet zwischen dem grünen Gas. Diese Art bevorzugt eigentlich fließende Gewässer, wo sie Insekten aus der Luft fängt.
