#Lucan 12 (1978) - 8/10
Good final episode.
1️⃣ #GretchenCorbett guests and gets a really interesting character to play, a gold prospector in the mountains. She goes for it with gusto and it's tremendous fun to to watch.
2️⃣ The story is driven by a compelling mystery. Lucan is searching for a man and we really don't know for ages why there are so many obstacles in his way. The explanation is really satisfying, too.
#TheRockfordFiles s7e3 (1996) - 10/10
Easily the best Rockford TV Movie, so far.
1️⃣ #GretchenCorbett returns as Beth, who was last seen in s4e14 (1978). She gets some lovely scenes with Jim.
2️⃣ The script by #JuanitaBartlett is really witty. But, more than hilarious dialogue, it’s got a strong/smart/intelligent story and a fabulous denouement. So satisfying.
#MagnumPI s1e10 (1981) 8/10
#GretchenCorbett (#TheRockfordFiles) guests.
1️⃣ The confrontation with the killer at the end is a tad too convenient/easy but the journey to that point is very good. It’s an inventive story, with plenty of credible suspects.
2️⃣ #RogerEMosley gets plenty of screentime and is very funny indeed as Magnum’s reluctant partner-in-crime.
