Having made it through History of the World- Part I, Andrew and Dave turn their attention to something much more modest in scope: a romantic comedy! Tune in as the podcasting duo discuss the high profile (though forgotten?) 1996 Penny Marshall film The Preacher's Wife, a discussion that addresses film budgets, the charms of Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston's killer singing voice, how to get an otherwise good film off on the wrong note, and a surprising amount of Stephen King references.Next Episode: All I've got is a photograph and I realize your not coming back anymore...All music by Andrew Kannegiesser. Editing by Dave Babbitt.
Having survived Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings, Andrew and David decided to they needed something even more epic in scale. And what's bigger than the history of the world?Tune in as the podcasting duo reflect on the career of Mel Brooks, debate the value of Brooks' '90s output, once again have to discuss the most infamous event in the life of Richard Pryor, and welcome back the long overdue Gregory Hines!Next Episode: A supernatural comedy with Denzel Washington. No, we're NOT looking at Heart Condition again. All music by Andrew Kannesgiesser. Editing by Dave Babbitt.
