NCCM's very own Education Coordinator Jannat Firdous was in Montreal West recently,

To speak to students at Royal West Academy about human rights and inclusion.

They discussed Islamophobia and anti-racism,

Along with broader issues of social justice.

At the commemoration at the Quebec City mosque,

We were reminded of the strength and beauty of our communities and the steadfast hope in a future without Islamophobia.

Perhaps the most striking moment of the night was the deeply moving remarks of Aymen Derbali.

Aymen was there that night when the gunman opened fire on the congregation.

He took several bullets in an attempt to save other worshippers.
