@urlyman I often get this when I suggest we should all fly less (or not at all). People say the government should act, while refusing to change their own lives, and think that using air con will solve all issues. Government needs to see people are willing to change before they'll do anything, and they need to be pressured from all sides. It's worked in the past, so I try not to despair!

@rhys OK, I'd better not over react to headlines then, and read the article. It's hard not to get annoyed by anti Net Zero stuff. I despair as people drive and fly around our heating planet, all while they demand more air con to compensate for their actions.

@DaveWhittle Absolute idiot. I suppose inevitably he's lost all contact with real life, and seemingly all common sense. Best not to despair, but keep fighting for climate friendly policy. Thank goodness for Attenborough, Thunberg et al. I wish I had more faith in Polanski.
