A rye grass green manure has done its job over winter. I lifted it with a ho-mi and left it on the surface to continue to break down before the bed is planted up next month.
On other beds Iβve cover killed the rye grass. Both methods work well.
Some bramble roots have been forked up and removed from another bed. Some still need to be removed another time.
This is as much soil disturbance as Iβll ever do. Minimum till rather than no dig. #GreenManure #CoverCrops #Mulch #Allotment #Gardening

@MaQuest I signed up to freegle after seeing this toot. Today I picked up a no longer needed but very handy dog fence.

Time is nearly up on the old plot. The shed and greenhouse are now empty. Iβve lots of plants, two water butts and some odds and sods left to move over to the other site.
Less than a month from now I will be able to call the new plot, the plot.
