This Is My GlasgowLove this Green Man style mask on the keystone of an arched window on 11 Renfield Street in Glasgow. This building was originally built in 1858, but was altered in the 1890s and I presume the mask was added at this time.

To start the week, a smiley Green Man (or rather yellow) I found at Abbey Dore in #Herefordshire. The abbey dates back to the 12th Century but was expanded a century later. The Green Man perhaps therefore dates from the 13th Century.

Beautifully sculpted green men on the obelisk sundial in King's Park on the Southside of Glasgow. This is one of three Victorian replicas of the 1635 Mannerist sundial at Newbattle Abbey House in Midlothian.
