I have on the back burner two translations. One is Aeschylus's The Persians. The other is Racine's Phaedre.

I have an eccentric theory that thr closest thing in the contemporary world to Ancient #GreekDrama is Japanese Kabuki, with its music, song, stylised action and movement.

I thought I was being eccentric, but I just found a translation of Racine where it's translated into Glaswegian Scots. Wow.
