3.5 years ago, dx: lung and anal cancer. Chemo, rad, R/lobe now gone. My flush RN joked we’ve dated for 3 yrs.now.I stared at the floor,so grateful but aware it can change at the next 3 month scan. She took my hand pressed it on her chest and I felt the lump of her own chemo port.She said’I get it and I see you’. It was one of the most intimate things I have ever experienced. Empathy, pass it on.
