Per arginare questo nuovo tipo di corruzione, mimetizzato e istituzionalizzato, servirebbero strumenti investigativi più efficaci, oltre che una rivoluzione culturale. Invece stiamo assistendo allo smantellamento delle leggi anticorruzione.

There are no happy islands, the investigations shake up politics from Sicily to Trentino, passing through Milan and its impetuous urban development. A new Tangentopoli. Thirty years after Mani Pulite (Clean Hands), corruption continues to corrode the foundations of the Italian Republic: consultancy, favors, invoices that mask and justify non-existent performances. The main actor is no longer the party, but the individual politician, who, after the decline of public funding, often prevails thanks to the ability to obtain private funding and weave privileged relationships.
To stem this new type of corruption, camouflaged and institutionalized, more effective investigative tools would be needed, as well as a cultural revolution. Instead, we are witnessing the dismantling of anti-corruption laws.
