With its soft, twittering tune and brilliantly bright plumage, the scarlet-chested parrot is one of Australia's rarely sighted birds that is rejoicing in recent rain in South Australia's Riverland.
This little family of Dusky Grass-wrens turned into the highlight of the day though. I knew they existed out here, just never seen them before.
