The beginning of the first sheet I'm able to draw since the injury! I never do florals, or plants at all for that matter, so I thought it was time to make some semi-realistic flowers, starting with this rose!
When I'm done doing this in graphite I want to do a version in a black linework style I've been seeing a lot that's a little more easily translatable to dotwork tattoo and I'm excited. Right now I'm chipping away at this maybe 20-30 minutes at a time so I don't strain my wrist, so it'll take some time but I'll be excited to share as I log more studio time and start producing work again.

Quick test I did yesterday after getting my 5.6mm lead holder. It's harder to control than a normal pencil but I love how quickly you can fill larger areas and how you get happy accidents if you misjudge the angle of the pen :>
