I just completed "Printing Department" - Day 4 - Advent of Code 2025 #AdventOfCode https://adventofcode.com/2025/day/4

Part 2 took more than 12 hours on my #Ti92 #GraphingCalculator, and it is already an optimized version. No clue how long the naive approach (part 1 in a loop) would have taken...

Day 4 - Advent of Code 2025

I just completed "Gift Shop" - Day 2 - Advent of Code 2025 #AdventOfCode https://adventofcode.com/2025/day/2

On my #Ti92 #GraphingCalculator. Part2 took quite a while to finish. Not sure if that's normal or if there's a bug...

In any case, the result was correct, so I'm happy.

Looking for a libre alternative to Desmos online graphing calculator? (https://www.desmos.com/calculator)

I found grapk.tk!

It used to be on https://graph.tk, but that address no longer works - yet the name of the project remains.

So it's now here:

Remembering Graphing Calculator [1] in today's macOS… I always loved how quickly it plotted inequalities…

Reminder of the Graphic Calculator story [2] (which shipped with all initial PowerPC computers, and then some) courtesy of @timbray. Not sure if @RonAvitzur is still active on the fediverse…

Now you can play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on a TI-84 Plus CE graphing calcultor

A basic calculator is a tool for quickly performing quick arithmetic functions. But graphing calculators are basically programmable computers. While they’re designed as math aids for students, engineers, and others… hackers have been porting games like DOOM to run on graphing calculators for decades.
Now someone has ported a full Sonic […]

Back in 2020, I wrote a haiku on a Ti-89 Titanium Graphing Calculator, took a screen capture using Ti Connect (one thing that was easier in my last days on Windows), and put it in an article. Back in the day (a good while back in the day), I used my Ti-89 to create title cards for the high school newspaper when I was senior editor. Nostalgia.
