Watching (OK, sucked fully into) Grantchester on BBC (via Netflix). Dude just took off his priest collar and left the church. I think I'm supposed to feel sad or something. I would have, back when I was religious.

Watching #Grantchester (BBC?). Thoughts after 4 episodes:
Very well made. Great acting. Delightful period piece.
For once the non-cop detective isn't treated with utter contempt by incompetent local cops. That's a nice change.
Never go to an English village. Their murder rate must be in the thousands per 100,000
At last we have reached the point where the small-town English detective can be traumatized by WWII instead of WWI

Partway through Season Three of Grantchester, James Norton starts giving me flashes of a young Robert Redford. I was truly not prepared. (I think it might be the change of hair style and they may be taking some of the red out of his hair colour, too.)
