Started these last Sunday. Pretty much all Speedpaint except for the red (and bases)

Ranking up polearm dudes is hard, I guess that's why the sword/shield build is popular

(I also finished the Blood Bowl Lizardmen box to a basic level and I spent longer on those but they are ... not to my shareable standard. But even they have plain goblin green bases and a pinch of flock...)

The moment I saw this model for a crowman in the Cathay box I knew how I was gonna paint it up.

Growing up we had a Magpie that would fly down, and walk right up to our back door. It’d do this beautiful warble and we’d feed it some sausage.

So here’s my little tribute to “Jack-o” the Magpie.
