It's true — my bad.

For decades — it's an obsession — I have used the parenthetical #EmDash to punctuate my writing. They are so much more elegant than littering my posts with (obnoxious) parentheses.

#TechBros hoovered up the Internet — including all my posts — to train their #GenAI to produce slop, and that's why #ChatGPT dumps em dashes all over the place.

Remember, seeing an em dash doesn't automatically mean #AI wrote it — could be a #GrammarNerd like me.

It's foreword, not forward, when you talk about JD Vance and the part he wrote of the book in question.

"“Dawn's Early Light,” a forthcoming book by the Heritage Foundation's president, Kevin D. Roberts, calling for a “second American Revolution,” features a foreword by Senator JD Vance, the Ohio Republican whom Mr. Trump tapped as his running mate in July." - NYT got it right. So *many* "reporters" haven't. And oh, the closed captions.
