Today’s smaller mobile radios certainly challenge the Human Interface — with this popular three-band FM/DMR radio squeezing in a SMA-jack for the GPS receiver between the power cord and the large cast heatsink on the back of the radio. After trying to get my fingers in there to attach it, remembered that I had a fancy SMA end wrench in my RF adapters case. It’s not the sort of thing you need to use everyday, but when needed is certainly very handy to have. #HamRadio #OddTools #GPSAntenna
