Freedom of movement is definitely a good thing, but so is freedom of speech. This law in Northern Ireland fines anyone for "influencing" others seeking reproductive services within 100 meters of providers. This apparently includes speech unrelated to reproductive care. Such a precedent, if allowed to stand, would render conduct of millions of law-abiding Britons a misdemeanor.

The lawmakers who violated the US Constitution by written letters or going on social media to pressure schools to fire these educators should be prosecuted in civil court and personally penalized. I'm specifically calling out Rep John McCravy (Greenwood) and Rep Luke Rankin the Lesser (Laurens) who thought it appropriate that a government official can apply pressure to stifle Constitutionally protected free speech.
