In pouring rain yesterday I cycled past the small house Erasaid in #Islay where a great-grand-uncle probably lived when he was boarded out to the farmer there from the #GovanDistrictAsylum in 1910. Was this #Orkney man glad to be back on the land? He was there around four years then discharged “recovered” in1914.
