Virunga National Park Sees Hundreds of Elephants Return and Rare Gorilla Twins Born During Hopeful Year
A second set of mountain gorilla twins has been born in Virunga national park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo – a male and a female. It’s the second twin birth just two months after another set (both boys) was discovered in the same park. Conservationists are taking it as a sign that the gorillas are in good health.
