latest #googlefail got a call from an unknown number, sent it to voicemail, but I was curious so I did a quick google search on the number.
Got back a handful of pages that all seem to have no real relationship to my search (a simple phone number in traditional phone number formatting)
Out of curiosity I clicked on the three dots about one search result and got this humdinger

THIS IS NOT HELPFUL 😠
Repeating the *same* story with the *same* thumbnail FORTY-NINE TIMES is not helpful. At all.
I understand that news orgs routinely pool their stories to save money. I suppose this is mostly Google's fault since they selected the stories. But couldn't news orgs try to be a little creative on their headlines and/or thumbnails? Sheesh.
So much fail. So much.
It's enough to make you want to watch the end of Fight Club on loop, all those faceless corporation buildings falling to the ground 👍
