So sad to hear that #ChristopherGunning has passed. The multi BAFTA / Ivor Novello Award-winning English composer worked for everyone from The Hollies to Dennis Potter, crafting distinctive film / TV scores for #GoodbyeGemini (1970), the BBC's #TheDayOfTheTriffids (1981) and dozens of episodes of LWT's #Poirot (1989-2013). His suitably elegiac score for Hammer's haunting #HandsOfTheRipper (1971) ranks among the company's finest.
