From 2014 and a four year old Jagger: the entire time he lived in this house, a little more than a decade, he would NOT go downstairs to the basement but he always had a thing about being there when I’d come back up with a load of laundry.

There were a couple of Golden Retrievers that somehow got separated from their owner - the local humane society had posted about the situation and then did an update, reporting owner and Retrievers have been reunited. Both are beautiful dogs (of course, I’m a little partial to Retrievers) but how could a person NOT love the facial expression on the Retriever on the right? ❤️

JAGGER'S HOUSE RULES

1. I can sleep anywhere I choose, even if it means you trip over me.
2. Let me outside even though I just came in - there's an area I forgot to sniff!
3. You must feed me every goodie you eat.
4. Don't "SHHHHH!" me while you're on the phone - I heard the wind blowing the leaves.
5. If it lands on the floor, it's mine!

Gizmo isn’t the only pet who follows me into the kitchen, looking for a treat; about this time 11 years ago, it was time for me to go to bed. I took a mug I had some hot tea in to the kitchen and Jagger stood in the entry to the kitchen and looks up at me. "Good night, Jagger bagger," I’d tell him as I would lean over to kiss him on the top of his head. Such a good boy.
