Golden Gate Canyon - Yellowstone

Golden Gate Canyon in Yellowstone was named for the color of the rocks on the canyon walls.
The original bridge was made of wood and had to be replaced twice. I love this area of Yellowstone as you drive north to Mammoth Hot Springs and see the country open up in a wide expanse in front of you.
