Just watched "Schizoid", a Cannon Group attempt to cash in on the slasher wave, cutting more corners than victims but ends up absurd enough to be an American giallo.
Also: Klaus Kinski seemed like a... chill dude.

Can an American slasher produced by Golan-Globus' The Cannon Group be a giallo? Oh yeah, I think their insane take on ripping off Halloween makes it a giallo by default - just because they don't KNOW how to do a slasher. I don't think it has intentional dream logic, I think they aimed for regular logic but just missed the mark a little. Not only do we get the black gloved killer but we also get a killer cast with Klaus Kinski being his Kinskiest, Christopher Lloyd looking WAY too young only 5 years before Back to the Future, Craig

Rusty Lemorande fue el director de los primeros 8 minutos. En contra de su voluntad y buscando economizar los primos Golan-Globus lo fusionaron con lo rodado para la segunda parte de "Alien from LA" (1988) de Albert Pyun
Para seguir economizando reciclaron la música compuesta por George Clinton para otras películas de Cannon Films... Vamos.... un collage en toda regla digna de #GolanGlobus y #CannonFilms
