Be careful what toots you boost. Do the world a favor and do a little due diligence. Re: University student with young siblings and a #gofundme page:
🚩 Low Engagement, High Following: Follows >2k people, has few followers
🚩Vague: Scammers keep it vague so the story can be reused, hard to disprove
🚩Urgency, Emotional Appeal: "my future will be over", "eyes full of hunger"
🚩Lack of historical data or personal content. A common trait of "burner" accounts created to post a link and disappear

I hate to ask again but the rest of my money went to lyft to no kings, grocceries and lyft to work this week.

I have no way to/from work tomorrow. Im trying to figure out public transit but I dont even have the money for a bus ticket :')

Walking is an option but its two miles in the heat so thats preferably my last resort.

Anything helps, lyft (pre tip) is about $15 each way so roughly $30???

Die Alternative ist halt immer, dass diese Veranstaltungen im Zweifel halt gar nicht aufgenommen werden, weil das Budget nicht reicht. Das vergessen Viele immer wieder gerne. Und ich bin ehrlich, ich persönlich habe auch so langsam keinen Bock mehr darauf! Wahrscheinlich ist, dass ich heute das letzte Mal dabei helfe, eine solche Veranstaltung aufzunehmen, weil ich das schon zugesagt habe.

Glaubt mir, wenn die Möglichkeit bestehen würde, würde ich mir die notwendige Technik zulegen, würden wir alle immer einen sehr viel höheren Anspruch an die Bild- und Tonqualität legen und uns nicht mit dieser Qualität zufriedengeben, aber ich habe das Geld nicht und der Verein kann da auch immer nur punktuell etwas verbessern.

Vielleicht erinnert sich noch der ein oder die andere hier daran, dass ich 2021 (glaube ich) versucht habe, über ein #Gofundme das Geld für eine solche Ausrüstung zusammenzubekommen. Das hat damals nicht wirklich geklappt und deswegen trifft es mich halt extrem, wenn dann immer wieder Menschen kommen, die halt eine Qualität verlangen, die kleinere Vereine nicht bringen können.

Und ja, andere Vereine haben sich in der Corona-Pandemie tatsächlich super Technik anschaffen können, aber halt nicht alle.
