The crane and flatbed have arrived. The wreckage of the collapsed Gävle goat is being dismantled and removed. So GoatWatch is definitely fully over. Can't even watch the heap o' goat.

In case you missed it yesterday, #GoatWatch2025 is at an end, after strong winds felled the goat. So no more morning updates this year. It's still in a heap on the ground, though I can say, it hasn't burned!
So I guess GoatWatch2025 is over. It's too late in the season for them to rebuild and the wooden frame probably needs repairs. Nothing's been confirmed yet, so I'll post any news about when the wreckage of the goat will be taken away, or any other developments. What's left could still burn after all! Meanwhile, thanks for following the morning updates! See you in December 2026.
