Good Morning Canada!
I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of next week when temperatures in the #Caledon area are expected to be 20C+ every day. To celebrate shorts-wearing, patio-eating and golf-frenzy weather let's look back at some of the worst winter storms in Canadian history. Environment Canada's list of the top weather events of the 20th century includes snowstorms of the century, -91 C wind chill, multi-day blizzards and the biggest single-day snowfall in Canadian history.
It's still a bit early for summer furniture on our porch, as evident from the snow on the front lawn. But I'm trying to demonstrate to the weather gods that we've had enough of the winter crap and they better start respecting the calendar. Hopefully I can enjoy a morning coffee while sitting in the sun in the next few weeks.... without a parka...

Update on the geraniums. No losses - still have 96 - and they are filling out nicely. We still have almost a foot of snow in our yard so it's hard to imagine that we'll start planting these in the garden in 7-ish weeks.
Awesome.... it's snowing here in #Caledon and we have a winter weather alert. I hate prognosticating groundhogs.
