Decided to customise #LinuxMint on my old #Macbook Air 13", 2012. I only use it very sparingly so never took time to personalise it. I just installed #zsh onto the #gnometerminal and my favourite theme #Powerlevel10k. Time to choose a colour theme! This seems like a good source!

I've been running #GnomeTerminal for years, but now it may bet time for a change. What #Terminal emulators are you using on your #Linux systems and why?

#foss #linuxmint #debian #operatingSystem #FOSSOS

#Arch #Linux #shell #terminal

I suspected #zsh was becoming increasingly sluggish. Wrongfully, as I found out. It was probably the #kitty terminal that was responsible for this. Over the past week, I tested some shell and terminal software. I stuck with "zsh" as the shell. There were interesting alternatives for the terminal, but configuring them required several years of study. In the end, #GnomeTerminal won the race. It is easy to configure and only requires a fraction of the RAM compared to "Kitty".

I M P R E S I O N E S
