Majority of the #world still does not rely on such #technology gimmicks ! This is more like the #globalnorth or #firstworld #tech that is sold all over the world in different ways (fashion, lifestyle, health etc.)

Most of us eat, drink and exercise without being attached to smart watches and phones !

Global South & the TDG

Many people in the Global South are too busy trying to through their impoverished day. They are too traumatized to build a new democracy.

Many people in the Global North spend their spare time watching entertainment. They have the resources to build a new democracy:

Then that democracy will be a good example for the Global South.

Instead of focusing on making attacks on immigrants, governments of developed countries should ask themselves what they do to help developing countries to improve their situation which results in forcing people to migrate.

It's easy to attack people, but it's hard to actually offer help to repair the damage that was done by colonization and exploitation.

Many world citizens are living very difficult lives. We should not expect them to build the TDG.

Many of in the Global North have comfortable lives. This comfort will give us time and energy to build the TDG.

Then we can teach this way to the rest of the world:

Traveling to an unequal country is one thing; living there is another. I've met many Europeans and Americans who travel extensively, including to countries in the Global South.

Some seem to genuinely care about inequalities and their consequences, and are thoughtful about these issues. However, it's a very different thing to start a project far from the turmoil and not have firsthand experience or understanding of the obstacles that might appear under those circumstances.

I've only met a few people who grew up in a privileged country and understand that. As a white man from a lower middle-class background, I acknowledge that I don't fully understand what minorities in Brazil endure. However, I still clearly remember how harmful violence in a country like Brazil can be.

It's a sad world when we have to pay such attention to the nonsense of this vile, small man, who was able to conquer immense power because our societies allowed it.

Meanwhile, some brave and skilled political leaders are trying to change our unequal world, but no one hears about them, especially if they're from a country in the Global South. Not to forget that some poor regions of the world are connected to the history of colonization, slavery, and genocide. Which wouldn't be surprising if it were taught superficially in the Global North. Is it?
