Information Loss

The loss of old video games, films, books, and other media has been on my mind. Companies delete whole games from existence. 80% of silent films are gone, never preserved due to their chemical instability. Servers get shut. Licenses expire. Libraries burn. Digital and physical. Art is treated like it's disposable. We're not preserving culture. We're renting it until it vanishes.
