Coolim BooksLong before the Wild Atlantic Way, we had the Prince of Wales Route to Glengarriff and Killarney, so named after an 1858 tour of the region by the Prince. This route was heavily promoted, especially by railway companies. This map of the route is from a 1903 brochure of the Cork, Bandon & South Coast Railway Company. Sadly today much of the rail tracks in this map are long gone.
