#NSW police are appealing for information after dozens of #beehives were stolen from a property in the stateโ€™s Northern Tablelands.

The beehives โ€“ 80 boxes in total, worth about $150,000 โ€“ were taken some time between 31 March & 6 May from a rural property about 15km west of #Bonshaw village, 100km from #GlenInnes.

The boxes are described as cream in colour with blue baseboards, blue and white lids and red, clear boards. They were full of #bee colonies. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

With a cycling buddy, I drove 900km to the small town of Glen Innes for a gravel ride in the Northern Tablelands in a region of northern New South Wales called New England.

I've never been here before and, to be honest, it's a lot like the Southern Highlands which is much closer. It's also very British with lots of Scottish and Welsh references.

The ride was organised by Goodness Gravel and was a much smaller and more personal ride than the Classic series.

We completed the 75km ride in good time and good spirits, despite some strong and relentless headwinds.

We've got a few more days here and are planning some riding/exploring tomorrow.

You don't expect to see a Chinese name on a heritage building in rural NSW, but here we have the Kwong Sing War Merchants dating to 1886 - once the town's main department store #gleninnes #northerntablelands #nsw #bentsabout #latergram
The NAB branch in Glen Innes was built in grand Italianate style for the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney in the 1880s #gleninnes #northerntablelands #nsw #bentsabout #latergram
