#CW for earlobe jewelry in a slightly stretched earlobe (3-4 gauge at maximum)

A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to size up from a 5g to 4g size for my earlobes. For context g stands for gauge here and not grams. 5g is 4.5mm and is represented in the pictures by the green plug.

The plugs I was going to be using was this pretty purple ringed transparent-ish one. Silly me did not realize it was actually 3g (5.5mm). Now, many people can do this directly. My skin is... unpredictable. My left earlobe accepted it just fine but not my right earlobe.

After discussion with a partner, and many jokes about me needing to fiddle with my holes to make them more pliable for bigger plugs, I realized my error.

Since I intend to stay in the 3-4 gauge range for quite a while, I was gifted a few extra options at 5mm (4 gauge). My right ear happily accepted this size, and my left ear was just peachy with the slight downsize.

Pictured are a plug with an oil-slick cap (what I'm currently wearing) and some spirals for some danglies. They glow in the dark.

Not pictured here are some earskinz tunnels which allow me to use any dangly that's a smaller gauge. So I can wear hoops with cat skull pendants and jhumke, etc which is going to let me be so annoying about outfit coordination... It's exciting
