A Siena si tratta ancora. Questa mattina il comitato nomine del Monte dei Paschi di Siena ha scelto di togliere l'attuale ad Luigi Lovaglio dalla lista del cda di Mps. E mentre il board è riunito in queste ore, alcune posizioni rischiano di mettere in difficoltà i progetti della banca senese. I rumors parlano dell'attivismo del presidente del collegio sindacale Enrico Ciai che si sarebbe schierato a supporto di Lovaglio. Lo ha fatto intensamente nelle scorse ore provando a influenzare il comitato nomine e chiedendo di inserire l'ad uscente nella lista del Cda, senza riuscirci, forzando in parte la terzietà del suo ruolo. Ciai, infatti, è presidente del collegio in rappresentanza dei gestori, quindi dovrebbe mantenere il più possibile un atteggiamento di neutralità secondo le regole stabilite da Assogestioni. L'ex Deloitte starebbe, poi spingendo per ricollocare l'ad e lui stesso in una nuova lista di minoranza. Un modo per rientrare in campo alle votazioni dell'Assemblea di aprile e tornare in campo. Le indiscrezioni segnalano che a presentare questa lista ci potrebbe essere l'imprenditore Girondi in passato molto vicino a Lovaglio. L'attivismo di Ciai, seppure legittimo, introduce elementi di rumore di fondo, in un momento in cui resta fondamentale regolare i buoni rapporti tra la banca e la Bce.

And while the board is meeting in these hours, some positions risk jeopardizing the bank’s projects in Siena. Rumors speak of the activism of the chairman of the supervisory board, Enrico Ciai, who would have sided in support of Lovaglio.
