Girls, sports and periods: this article in the Irish Times is about initiatives to help girls exercise while menstruating. I admire the openness and practicality, but have to admit periods were one of the major gender dysphoric triggers for me. I could barely acknowledge them. And as for using a tampon. No way. They (periods) were also very painful. https://www.irishtimes.com/health/your-fitness/2023/02/14/girls-sports-and-periods-ive-been-playing-in-croke-park-and-had-to-say-would-you-check-my-shorts/? #womensport #genderdysphoria #menstruation #gender #sport #swimming #trans #puberty #adolescence #girlssport #Ireland

Feels good to get the first session plan for my U14s sorted ahead ahead of our return to training tomorrow. Should be a simple session to get them moving after not playing a game for a month.

After last Christmas, our first game back was in awful conditions and the girls got mugged after missing a hatful of chances. Hoping we don't get a repeat this weekend.
