I'd reached out to 2 women through IG who were in the Austin area, neither of whom I had any mutual friends with, but I asked if they'd be interested in doing photo shoots during my visit to Austin. Both showed interest though 1 began to ghost when attempting to plan a day/time and location to meet. The other, Brooke, liked my work so far, everything I'd posted to IG, and she asked a lot of questions before agreeing to come with a friend (which I encouraged). We used the campus she was at to get some great shots and I got to enjoy a bit of a tour and history lesson being shown around. I'd given some ideas of the photos I was looking to get and she'd give locations around campus which could fit or were interesting. Our first few shots were to get more relaxed working together, but she did a fantastic job taking direction and her, her friend, and I easily had some great conversation going with them. Near the end of our time, I offered to get us coffee from a local coffee shop as a thank you. Funny enough, after meeting with Brooke, the next visit I had to Austin, her friend I'd also reached out to was eager to do photos with me after seeing the ones I did with her!

After finding out Hannah lived within minutes of where I lived at the time, and that she was interested in doing photos around town, we ended up visiting a local college campus for our setting. It being in the Winter we were lucky there were limited distractions but I got to work more on my verbal and mimic posing styling. I loved how multiple photos turned out, though there was one I loved the most. These photos are from that photo shoot.
