I once bought a cheap wig when I was first investigating transitioning; over 15 years ago. Wore it twice, before it went into a box to sleep.

I finally pulled it out, to see how it looks now. It's a lot easier to deal with than my long wig, so I think I'll wear it sometimes for simple things.

Wore it on my first outing in full #Girlmode.

I was (the only one) waiting in line at the grocery store. An older guy came by with a couple things in his hand, and was obviously confused (the layout is very confusing).

I don't like speaking out, and it seemed like giving him my spot would create the least friction. I also wasn't in much of a hurry, so I chilled.

But the cashier pointed out he needed to get in line. Three times. Each time seeming to baffle him more.

Then the customer turned and added, "behind the lady. She's been waiting for a bit already."

I wasn't even trying to #Girlmode.
