L'Unità: Mattarella: “C’è la guerra e c’è chi pensa solo ai suoi interessi”

“La guerra è tornata, nel mondo c’è chi pensa solo ai suoi interessi”. È una delle frasi pronunciate ieri dal presidente della Repubblica che dal Quirinale ha ripetuto: “La guerra è tornata a spargere sangue nel mondo, in tante sue parti, anche non lontano dalla nostra Italia”.
Le parole dal Colle hanno l’inevitabile effetto di far risaltare l’imbarazzato impaccio di Giorgia Meloni impegnata a far finta di non vedere che la guerra scatenata da Trump e dall’israeliano Netanyahu nel Golfo ci sia arrivata sull’uscio di casa. La premier sfugge al Parlamento, tira in ballo Putin, sembra disposta a qualsiasi capriola logica pur di non ammettere il disastroso isolamento in Europa nel quale si è cacciata schiacciando l’Italia sulle esigenze folli di Trump.
Ci mancava solo Salvini. Ma non è mancato. Prima il ministro dei trasporti e vicepremier ha annunciato un’informativa della premier Giorgia Meloni in aula. A stretto giro, tutto smentito: il Parlamento è già stato informato dai ministri Antonio Tajani e Guido Crosetto. Si muove però il Copasir. domani alle 15 sarà sentito sulla guerra in Medio Oriente Giovanni Caravelli, il capo dell’Aise, i servizi segreti per l’estero.

War has returned; in the world, there are those who think only of their own interests. It is one of the phrases uttered yesterday by the President of the Republic, who from the Quirinal repeated: “War has returned to spread blood throughout the world, in many parts, even not far from our Italy.”

The words from the Palace have the inevitable effect of highlighting Giorgia Meloni’s embarrassed hesitation as she tries to pretend that the war unleashed by Trump and the Israeli Netanyahu in the Gulf has arrived at our doorstep. The Prime Minister avoids Parliament, bringing Putin into the frame, seemingly willing to do any logical trick to not admit the disastrous isolation in Europe into which she has plunged, crushing Italy on the mad needs of Trump.

We were only missing Salvini. But he wasn’t missing. First, the Minister of Transport and Vice Premier announced a briefing by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Parliament.
