Playing with my gin collection, and I think this might be my Summer 2023 cocktail. I call it "Neap Tide":
- 5 sprigs of chocolate mint, muddled in a cup
- 1.5 oz Newfoundland Distillery Seaweed gin
- 0.5 oz St Germain liqueur
- 200 ml Fever-tree Mediterranean tonic
- pinch of salt
Mix, strain, serve.
Slightly briny, floral high notes, and a bright tingle of mint to remain on the palate. Just like a May afternoon at a Bay of Fundy beach!
